Checklist
When applying for real estate financing, there are general documentation that lenders require of you to have. The
requirements while generally same amongst lenders, may differ slightly. Here are the requirements that you should
provide to your loan professional to enable the funding of your Purchase loan
Purchase Loan Requirements
- 1. Signed Borrower’s Authorization form to run your credit.
- 2. Copy of your Driver’s license and/or SSN card
- 3. Fully completed Purchase Contract
- 4. Hazardous/Flood insurance contact information
- 5. Income Documentation, depending if full documentation (most employed clients) provide;
W2s, 2 months bank statements, 2 months Paystubs, and/or 401k, IRA, Mutual Funds . However, if you
are self employed, you will need 12 months bank statements, 1099, and/or 401k, IRA, Mutual Funds
Refinancing Loan Requirements
If the financing is a Refinancing of your existing property, you will need to provide the following;
- 1. Signed Borrower’s Authorization form
- 2. Driver’s license and/or SSN card
- 3. Hazardous/Flood insurance contact information
- 4. Tax Bill
- 5. Mortgage statements
- 6. Income Documentation, depending if full documentation (most employed clients) provide;
